About the fund
The iMoney Consensus Award Winners Wholesale Fund is an innovation fund that selectively invests in companies with a direct link to the Consensus Awards, whether they are recent winners, highly commended entrants, or founded by past award recipients. The Fund is open only to Wholesale Clients, as defined in the Corporations Act (section 761G or 761GA).
Our investment thesis
We believe that the Consensus Awards judging process acts as a unique, proven due diligence screen. With more than 1,200 technologies evaluated, and over 200 award winners since 2000, the Awards are a credible predictor of commercial success. By investing in companies at multiple stages—early, mid, and public, the Fund provides a diversified innovation portfolio grounded in expert validation.

Consensus Awards has over 160 registered judges - independent experts across all industry sectors. Judging panels for each assessment are formed to match judges’ expertise with the solutions being vetted, which is the equivalent of a high-quality investment committee process.

Our capital is allocated with the goal of balancing high-growth potential and liquidity:

Exposure to proven performers like WiseTech and Atlassian delivers liquidity and stability. - 30% – Mid-Stage growth companies
These are post-revenue, scaling businesses with validated product market fit and strong momentum. - 30% – Early-Stage ventures
Seed and Series A investments in emerging innovators, sourced directly from the Awards pipeline. - 10% – Cash & liquid ETFs
To support investor liquidity and opportunistic capital deployment.

- Selection risk: Mitigated through the award process, which functions as a peer-reviewed due diligence filter.
- Diversification: Across stages and sectors to balance risk and reward.
- Liquidity: 40% of the Fund is allocated to listed equities and cash, ensuring redemption capacity and agility during market disruptions.
